I’m Robert from Melbourne Victoria. I am married to an awesome woman who supports my fishing addiction.

I work as a pick packer during the week. I have been fishing all my life. It started with fishing around the lakes of Ballarat with my father, fishing for red fin, trout and carp. But as I got older my fishing addiction grew. And i wanted to experience different styles of fishing and took up surf fishing for many years, but that was not enough. I soon brought my first boat which was a 474 stacer tinny with an old 60 horsepower Johnson motor on the back.

That is when my addiction turned into my passion, and I started my Facebook page, Rob’s fishing adventures to help fellow anglers to catch a feed, advice with rigs, locations to fish and general fishing reports.

My ultimate dream is to make a career out of fishing and travel the world to catch every species of fish there is to catch.
