Why chose a drum style winch over others on the market?

The drum style winch has become by far the way to go for boat anchor winching and the way of the future.  Drum winching has become the most efficient and reliable way for anchor winching. A drum style winch reals up your rope and chain kit nice and neatly on a real with no tangles and drops in much the same way.  The older style winches on the market namely Gypsie, or feeding style and Capstan style have many complication and are very inefficient. Some issues with these style winches are rope tangles, rope and chain locking up and getting caught and always having to go to the front of the boat. We are currently replacing many of these style winches to drum style winches.
